Picnic and Icecream

This afternoon our chuch had a picnic at Karyae Park. The kids had a wonderful time playing on the playground and hanging out w/ friends. The music was wonderful. Our pastor had an interview with a WWII veteran. It was amazing to hear this gentleman recount his time in the service. His ship sank and he and his friends were in the water for several hours. He saw many of his fellow men parrish. We are very thankful to him and many others who have served and died for our country.


After the park we took the kids for ice cream. As you can tell Jaden enjoyed his. The boys debated their choices: Morgan- chocolate shake (strawberry has chunks) Jaden- I want icetream(chocolate) Jack- Can I just have and icee at home? (whos kid is he) John and I had an OOey Gooey Carmel blizzard. Very good. It was a great day! Looking forward to the pool tomorrow.

First day at the pool 2010.

We had a blast at the pool today. The boys picked right up where they were last year. Morgan ran into a friend and played ball. Jack met some new friends and jumped off the diving board about 100 times. Jaden swam in the big pool for a while. When my arms were worn out from catching him as he jumped off the side, he got in the baby pool for a while. At first he wanted to go back "fimming". Then he found a friend. With the 20 assorted toys to choose from he and his buddy were playing with plastic cups. Had we known we could have saved alot of money.



Now for the first appology we would just like to say sorry to the people at Moe's tonight. Morgan got sick right as we walked in the door. Then begged for a Moo Moo Mr. Cow. We did not allow him to eat.



Appology number 2: Sorry to anyone who was a the Verizon store tonight. Seeing that we arrived 20th in line for assistance, with three very tired children in tow. There was a "little" bit of a wait and Jaden was repremanded several times.

Speed Street

Today John and I took the boys to Speed Street in Charlotte. We saw all the driver's cars. The boys love to walk around and collect freebies from all the vendors. The past couple of years have been slim. I guess w/ the economy they are cutting back. One year they gave out matchbox cars, candy, slap bracelets, and other freebies. This year they had LONG lines to play a game where you win a free 2pack of Ritz Crackers. Today they did have a cool boat similator and an X-BOX racing game. Here are some pics.

Dreams...

I will be dreaming about blog backgrounds tonight. Thanks to Anna B who sent me a link that I have been looking at for the past three hours. Who knew there were so many backgrounds? My head hurts, my borrowed laptop is about fried and I am going to bed. Not in love w/ this background but I have got to go to sleep and I have to shut down this computer. Night... Night...zzzzzzzzzz.....

Tooth drama...

I have been haggling with Jack every night for the past 2 months, about how many times I can wiggle his tooth. One night it was 5 times after he prayed, 5 times after Morgan prayed and 5 times after I prayed. For the past couple of nights it seems to be hanging on by a thread. Finally tonight we were sitting in the car and I joked that if he did not let me wiggle I was going to "knock his tooth out". Well, I reached over to grab it and it just popped out in his mouth. He was shocked and excited. He could not even stand still for a pic. He went to bed and was out like a light. The tooth fairy made her appearance and left two shiny quarters. I can't wait to see his reaction in the morning.
